Sulphuric Acid 50% is a strong inorganic acid used to reduce alkalinity and lower the pH of water and wastewater. It is commonly used for pH adjustment, neutralisation and process water treatment; its acidic properties allow it to react effectively with alkaline substances.

| Handling and storage | Handle with extreme care — corrosive and may cause severe burns to skin and eyes. In case of contact, wash immediately with plenty of water and seek medical attention. Do not take internally. Wear suitable protective gloves, goggles or a face shield. Avoid breathing vapour, always add acid to water slowly when dilution is required, and never add water directly to concentrated acid. |
